WASHINGTON—Today, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean’s (FL-04) bill to prevent providers from charging facility fees for telehealth services passed the House Committee on Education and the Workforce by a vote of 34 to 0. H.R. 9457, the Transparent Telehealth Bills Act, would protect employer-sponsored health plans from paying unnecessary fees, lowering overall healthcare costs.

WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) announced more than $2.2 million in new federal funding to help the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport rehabilitate its taxiway and upgrade taxiway lighting. The federal grant, awarded through the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Airport Improvement Program, will support infrastructure improvements at the airport to meet operational needs and increase the lifespan of its taxiway.
