The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) is an annual coding competition designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering, math, and computer science. The CAC is open to all middle and high school students in Florida’s Fourth Congressional District and students have the option of competing as individuals or teams of up to four people.

Established in 2015 by the U.S. House of Representatives, students compete against their peers nationwide by creating software applications (also referred to as an “app”) for mobile, desktop, or other devices using coded language, such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or "block code.”

The CAC is open to all middle and high school students in Florida's Fourth Congressional District. Students can compete as individuals or in teams of up to four people. If competing as a team, only one team member needs to register.
