Congressman Bean held an awards ceremony in Jacksonville to announce the winners of the 2023 Congressional Art Competition for Florida’s Fourth Congressional District. A total of 43 high school students from across the district submitted 77 artistic pieces for this year’s competition.

In solidarity with parents and teachers, Early Childhood, Elementary, and Education Subcommittee Chairman Aaron Bean (FL-04) hosted a Parents Roundtable in Jacksonville with House Education and Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (NC-05) focused on the dangerous impact of disempowering parents.
Members had productive discussions on the changes our schools need, such as curriculum that educates not indoctrinates, ensuring a baseline of parents’ rights, and how to foster academic achievement so every child can reach their fullest potential.
Congressman Bean toured Eagle Pass, Texas in the Del Rio Sector and spoke with United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and members of the community on the unprecedented impact of President Biden’s open border policies.
