WASHINGTON—Member of the House Ways and Means Committee, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) released the following statement regarding his vote in favor of the Senate Amendment to H.Con.Res.14.
“Our body has a historic opportunity to deliver tax relief to hardworking families and to restore our nation’s prosperity. Today’s vote restores the border, secures energy dominance, backs peace through strength, rebuilds our military, and most importantly, it is the first step to preventing the largest tax hike in U.S. history.
I am committed to achieving these historic tax cuts while cutting spending. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues to restore fiscal sanity and rein in the runaway spending that threatens to bankrupt our country.”

The Senate Amendment to H.Con.Res.14 establishes a budgetary framework for fiscal year 2025 and sets appropriate budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2036.
