Congressman Bean Votes to Lower Costs, Address Debt Ceiling
WASHINGTON—Today, Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) voted to pass, The Limit, Save, and Grow Act of 2023, House Republicans’ responsible plan to avoid a federal default. This transformational bill will limit federal spending, claw back $60 billion in unspent COVID funds, and grow the economy by strengthening America’s workforce.
“Americans are tired of the federal government using their paychecks as an ATM. Families across the nation pay their debts and live within their means, and the federal government should do the same. We owe it to the American people to deliver serious, sensible results to lower soaring costs and address our ballooning debt.
Today, House Republicans took action to end the era of reckless Washington spending. We can meet our nation’s funding needs without jeopardizing our economy and saddling future generations with more debt.”
