Congressman Bean: “Another Senate Shutdown”

In response, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) said, “House Republicans did our job. We negotiated in good faith, passed all twelve appropriations bills, and delivered funding to protect our military, first responders, law enforcement, and hardworking families across this country from the harmful impacts of yet another government shutdown. Unfortunately, Senate Democrats abandoned our agreement and waited until the last minute to demand new changes, ensuring a partial government shutdown. Americans deserve a government that works, not one that threatens shutdowns and chaos. House Republicans are standing up for hardworking Americans, and we expect the Senate to do the same.”
