Bean Delivers Transparency: Votes to Release Epstein Files
WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) issued the following statement after the House of Representatives voted to release the Epstein files:
“I voted to release the Epstein files because Northeast Floridians deserve transparency. House Republicans, through the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes, have worked to uncover the facts and give victims a voice. Today’s vote is another decisive step to pursue justice while delivering long-overdue accountability and transparency to the American people and Epstein’s victims.”
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
To date, the Oversight Committee has publicly released approximately 65,000 pages of records. These include materials from the Department of Justice, documents from the Epstein Estate, as well as deposition transcripts from former U.S. Attorney General Bill and former U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta.
