Bean Celebrates Passage of Rescissions Act

WASHINGTON—Founder and co-chair of the DOGE Caucus, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04), released the following statement after House Republicans approved the Trump Administration’s rescissons request to cut $9.4 billion in wasteful spending identified by DOGE. Upon passage, Congressman Bean said, “Taxpayers deserve an efficient, accountable government. H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, cuts reckless, politically biased spending identified by DOGE and takes a critical step toward fiscal health. House Republicans are ready to restore responsibility—I urge the Senate to act swiftly. Let’s go get’em!”

The DOGE Caucus has long advocated for Congress to enact the cuts identified by DOGE and continues to work with the White House on future rescissions.
