Bean Applauds Passage of Pro-American Budget Resolution

WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) issued the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the Fiscal Year 2025 budget resolution on Tuesday evening: 

“Last night, the House advanced legislation to invest in the future of America. I am fighting to cut wasteful spending, to secure our borders, to unleash American energy, and to keep taxes low for hardworking Florida families. You demanded change in Crazy Town, and this is us delivering.”

OVERVIEW:

1. Economic Growth: Grows the economy by $2.6 trillion over 10 years from 2.6 percent average growth, compared to CBO’s estimate of 1.8 percent growth.
2. Discretionary Spending: Saves $829 billion.
3. Key Priorities: Extends President Trump’s signature tax cuts and provides funding for border security and national defense.
