Bean Votes to Keep Government Open

WASHINGTON—U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) released the following statement after the House passed a clean, short-term Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government through November 21st.

"Today’s vote sends a clear message to our men and women in uniform, federal law enforcement professionals, and air traffic controllers: we are committed to ensuring they’re paid on time, and that critical government services continue without interruption. The House has acted decisively. Now it’s up to the Senate to do the same and prevent a costly shutdown,” said Congressman Bean.
